Nadia Thorius was born and raised in Denmark and moved to San Francisco in 2014 due to new work opportunities.
It seems like the homelessness in the Bay Area has increased the last couple of years and "gotten much worse" and living in SoMa in SF has (unfortunately!) made it an everyday event to walk-by homeless people in need. It's important to recognize that homelessness is not a local problem that San Francisco is failing to solve. It is national which impacts West Coast cities. But like anything else - if you want to change the world - then start small and with yourself. Nadia hopes that she can make some small changes by volunteering at The Blossom Project!
Nadia holds a Master Degree in Political Communication and Management from Copenhagen Business School.
